Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and sometimes stylized with lowercase letters, such like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is a May 2015 release by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from blogs and the press. She's recorded a variety of well-known cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway with her voice, gave her the track a little more attention. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered an old grand piano hidden in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to use music for personal growth, rather than as a way of earning a living or to pursue an interest. The Aksnes family advised her to compose. She cites renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as a love for Bjork's style. To counter her mother's suggestions that she ought not to aim at achieving fame through their songwriting skills, she instead realize the importance of themselves and their impact on society. She began playing the piano as her primary instrument at the age of six. She began writing music when she turned nine. Family members didn't even have any idea about it until she was fourteen. It was never a dream to be Aurora. She just loves to write songs. She believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
